Band shots

Band shots are conventional and a very important in a music video. In our music video we will be shot a variety of band shots using different camera angles such as, long and close up shots. The conventional band shot shows the band because it shows the band who have written and recorded the song. We have decided to feature band shots in our music video as i have found they are conventional when a band is creating a music video, plus they will brake up the video to make it more interesting and vary the locations and actors.
 But some bands go against the normal convention and play cameos in the music video. The band 'Boys Like Girls' in the music video for 'Lovedrunk' have conventional bands shots as well as playing roles in the video. The image below is a band shot of 'Paramore' performing during their song 'Decode'.
